Motorola DROID RAZR HD review: Now in HD

Roughly a year after Motorola brought the RAZR franchise back to the masses, we have the second generation of the popular DROID on our hands. The Motorola DROID RAZR HD for Verizon Wireless comes to the market hot on the heels of its frameless baby...

CDMA/EVDO network support ; Quad-band GSM and 3G support (available only outside of the United States with Verizon roaming) ; LTE network support ; 21 Mbps HSDPA and 5.76 Mbps HSUPA ; 4.7" 16M-color Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with HD...

No dedicated camera button ; CPU and chipset not on par with the latest crop of competitors ; Battery is not user-replaceable ; Huge amount of preinstalled bloatware

The Motorola DROID RAZR HD is a one of the most well-rounded packages on the market right now. The handset offers good performance and great battery life, tucked into a well-built, nice looking package. With Google pulling the strings at the company...

Droid RAZR HD and RAZR MAXX HD review

The Droid RAZR HD and RAZR MAXX HD combine unmatched battery life with top-shelf materials and rock-solid performance.

Stunning build qualityMinimally skinned Ice Cream SandwichEpic battery lifeSnappy performance

PenTile screen shows jagged edgesSlightly awkward feel in hand

If there was an award for "Most Improved Handset," we'd give it to the RAZR HD. With the launch of the Droid RAZR last year, Motorola set about trying to reconnect with its legacy of producing cutting-edge, high-end hardware. It was far from perfect,...

Motorola Razr HD review

Motorola has sharpened its Razr, but can it cut through the competition?

Stylish body ; Big, bright screen ; Great battery life ; Telstra's 4G LTE is impressive ; Strong call quality

Dual core CPU chugs at times ; Mediocre camera

Motorola Droid RAZR HD and RAZR Maxx HD review

Last year, Motorola relaunched its RAZR brand with a pair of new smartphones, the Droid RAZR and Droid RAZR Maxx for Verizon Wireless. While the resurrected RAZRs impressed with solid build...

Motorola Droid Razr HD (Verizon Wireless)

The Verizon Wireless Motorola Droid Razr HD represents a happy medium between the smaller Razr M and the more-expensive Razr Maxx HD.

Solid build quality. Fast processor and data speeds. Fantastic battery life.

Underwhelming camera. Doesn't run Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). Difficult-to-access microSD slot.

Motorola Droid Razr HD (Verizon) review:

Motorola's $199.99 Droid Razr HD takes all the great features of the original Droid Razr and kicks them up a notch. Featuring a 1.5-GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 CPU, 1GB of RAM, and yes, a massive 4.7-inch 720p AMOLED display, this is the best Razr yet....

The Motorola Droid Razr HD offers fast performance, a big eye-popping screen, and luxurious design. It also has great call quality and satisfying 4G speeds.

The Droid Razr HD’s Achilles' heel is a camera that produces subpar images. The phone is loaded with Verizon bloatware, too.

Motorola’s lovely new Droid Razr HD is fast and thin, but its weak camera should make mobile shutterbugs wary.

Motorola Razr HD

We'll be honest. We've got HD fatigue, so when the Motorola Razr HD arrived in our office we didn't jump for joy. HD, we thought, big whoop, everything is HD these days, hell, they even make HD make-up for some reason. So what is Motorola up to here?...

Lovely looking, great screen, decent battery life, superb call quality, solid-feeling, microSD

A bit expensive, not the highest hardware specification, no user access to battery

So there you have it, we have more faith in Motorola's products than Google CFOs do. While you could argue that the Razr HD isn't a "wow" device, you can't really argue that it's bad, because it isn't. And honestly, we really like its design and feel....

Motorola DROID RAZR HD Review

With Verizon's next in an ever-expanding line of RAZR devices here with the Motorola DROID RAZR HD we're getting essentially the same experience as we did with the RAZR M, except this time it's quite a bit larger. With a 4.7 inch Super AMOLED display...

Here we’re working with another winner, with Motorola making full use of their new partnership (ownership) with Google in many fine ways. You can see that this device (as well as the RAZR M, for example) are not the same DROID devices we saw a couple...
