- Very uncomfortable without a wrist rest - No print screen button

The TKL keyboard certainly is popular amongst gamers these days, and there are some big trade-offs but these are outweighed by the advantages of the smaller form-factor. The Apex 3 TKL, however, probably doesn’t do enough to maintain that balance.

SteelSeries’ new Apex 3 TKL is waterproof, quiet and unlike any other keyboard that I have used at this low of a price. It easily does more than most other $45 gaming keyboards.

- Software lacks preset RGB lighting effects - Delay on the play/pause button

Typically, when reviewing budget hardware such as this, we need to constantly remind ourselves of the price and why certain features are missing or performance is lacking. The Apex 3 is the exception to that rule. What a keyboard SteelSeries have made...

instead, that'd be my primary recommendation.

Volume scroll, it may seem like a small thing but I absolutely love this feature. Keyboard feels great when using it and not had any issues.

Well built quality and intuitive design. Like most Steel series products, they make great high quality products which work and perform well.

The typing experience could be improved a little. I am aware that this is not a mechanical keyboard, but the typing experience does not feel "premium".
