Good Hardware, Questionable Software

 

I dont know what kind of code they are using for their monitoring software, but ....well i will probably never know because im not going to be installing it Im probably jsut going to sync a backup drive with the video via ftp every night.

It is a relatively cheap unit, that has a great interface, easy setup, and quite a few options including ftp

solid product

 

For the price this is an excellent system and I would recommend to anyone trying to protect their home.

The CCD cameras give a good quality picture and the night vision works well. The 60 foot cabling was plenty and the installation of the cameras was very simple. The hard drive has plenty of storage space for me to be able to go back and review footage....

The remote viewing was a bit difficult to setup being that I am a technical novice

WARNING! Be sure to tell customer service you purchased your unit at Newegg. Newegg retail units are DIFFERENT from the normal retail units so all written materials and online support documents DO NOT match the item. Go figure. Good Luck!

Well packaged - easy to put together - fired right up - formatted HD (1TB) in about a minute - all (4) cameras working ; Price was the best I found online

Excellent home system with great support. Allowing you to have to purchase a hard drive for the DVR gives you the option to purchase the size and type that you want. The software for computer video recording is a very nice touch

Recommended Surveillance KIT/easy installation

 

I bought this kit for my parents house because there have been some vandalizing going on. I thought it would be hard to install but after running the wires around the house and mounting all the cameras I think we did a great job. I had to buy x2 100ft...

This is a great system for DIY project. Cameras picture is great. Overall, I think this system awesome and very easy to install
