Kensington Orbit Wireless Mobile Trackball

Product has not yet been reviewed by PCMag.com editors.

The wireless trackball uses two AA batteries for power, and is small enough to slip into a laptop bag for use on the road. The base of the Kensington Orbit measures 1.6 by 4.2 by 3.3 inches (HWD), and weighs less than 6 ounces. Kensington covers the...

Kensington Orbit Wireless Mobile Trackball review

Larger than a typical portable mouse the Orbit Mobile is nevertheless significantly smaller than Kensington's full-size trackballs and small enough to fit comfortably in most laptop bags. And it isn't much heavier than a travel mouse.

Trackballs are a bit of a niche market—in my experience, you either love them or dislike them, and far more people are in the latter category than the former. But for those of us who are trackball fans, Kensington’s Orbit Wireless Mobile Trackball is...

Review: Is Kensington's Orbit Trackball A Mouse Killer?

Kensington's Orbit Wireless Mobile Trackball is just one device in the long lineage of trackballs but houses a handful of added perks to make it a worthy opponent to the conventional mouse.

Easy to clean; ergonomic design; customisable controls; touch sensitive scroll

Chunky device; limited added functions over a typical mouse

A great little package!

I have been a Marble mouse guy for years, and have been looking to upgrade to wireless, and found logitech's offering very expensive. I was lucky enough to this it on sale here, but it is still a decent value, comparatively, at full price. I really...

Great No Frills PSU

Wireless, compact and fairly responsive

Left and right button placement is awkward. When you are moving the mouse to change the angle of your palm, you can push the buttons unintentionally. Also, the touch scroll takes some getting used to. A physical button or slide would give a better...

Another one bites the dust

This will probably be the last Kensington product I purchase. I wish Logitech made a similar mouse to this one.

It's wireless

They keep breaking. They just stop working. Either the sensor stops working or the trackball itself starts moving erratic and can't be used
